Grow.

Learn.

Engage.

Uniting music educators in a commitment to teaching music in a diverse and progressive manner.

In today’s world, it can feel difficult to support and empower every student. Our goal is to help advance music education by expanding the knowledge that educators need to create safe spaces where students can flourish.

Making Space in Music provides resources that are designed to prepare music educators to effectively promote and achieve a conscious philosophy of learning.

We aim to educate our community on everything from recognizing microaggressions to preparing culturally inclusive content. Through our professional development workshops, seminars, and clinics, you will learn how to embrace and sharpen your students’ individual skills.
